Magnificent coastal views across the bay from the large arched patio window (one of a pair) - occupying almost the whole of the end walls of the lounge/diner - opening out onto a balcony.
Set just above the tiny cove at Tresaith you could sit here and soak up the atmosphere and look for the dolphins that inhabit this peaceful bay. They can be seen gracefully diving when the sea is quiet.
Walking here along the beach in the evening or early morning, with the beach frequently to yourself, must leave indelible memories of pure escapism. This delightful sandy beach never gets overcrowded because of very limited parking. There is a regular dingy sailing club on Sunday.
On the drive down from the main road through quiet lanes, you glimpse dotted between well - nurtured fields, solid neat farmhouses with the whole of Cardigan Bay beyond. There are narrow country and coastal lanes leading in all directions here, with banks of primroses in spring and shaded with oak and beech trees in summer. The National Trust has acquired much of the coastline locally. Do visit their recent acquisition - The Llanerchaeron Estate.
